Loose Women’s Jamelia Wants Jeremy Clarkson Sacked!

Loose Women’s Jamelia Wants Jeremy Clarkson Sacked!

With the recent footage released of Jeremy Clarkson mumbling the N word during some unaired footage from Top Gear the Loose Women decided to discuss the topic.

During the conversation singer Jamelia started saying that she want’s the BBC to sack the presenter due to his hurtful comments.

Talking on the panel Jamelia said:

“Personally, I believe the BBC should exercise zero tolerance. He has got to go.

“He is a 54 year old man. He is very aware of the deep rooted negative connotations associated with that word and whether you mumble it, whether you say it, it is not on, it is not acceptable and it is deeply offensive to too many people.  He has got to go.”

Also feeling the same Jo Wood said that she agreed and he needs to ‘act his age’.

The mum of two continued:

He is in a position of power and influence and there are so many people of many different races who watch his shows and that should not be in your vocabulary, it should not be in your head.

“Being a black person I am offended when I hear it anywhere.”

“I listen to rap music and every time I hear it I am so offended. I think ‘you are so stupid’ – just as stupid as Jeremy Clarkson – it’s a word that is used to cause offence and there is nothing you can do to change that.”

“The word historically; where it originated from – the slavery days, it was used as yet another tool to  beat us with to keep us down. I can’t celebrate that in any way.  No matter how many ways you sing it in a song I am not going to join in and say ‘yeah I’m with you guys’.  Its not a word to be used;  it’s not OK.”

We have to say we agree with Jamelia he’s old enough and also he clearly hasn’t learn from all the other hurtful comments he has said over the years.
