Twittersphere Divided Over Who Was The Worst Performer At The Jubilee concert… Cheryl Cole or will.i.am
Viewers of yesterdays Jubilee concert expressed their feeling about the show live on Twitter and we have to say some of them where not good.
He hijacked the Olympic torch relay last month, and last night The Voice judge will.i.am managed to muscle his way onto the bill of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert.
But while his protégée Cheryl Cole’s appearance was understandable, the pair were on the receiving end of some harsh criticism from the Twittersphere about their singing capabilities, and opinion was divided over who was the worst out of the pair.
Some of the viewers of the show tweeted:
‘So Cheryl Cole can’t sing. I think even the autotune computer gave up on her.’
‘We all heard a strange noise. We all ran to the window to look out. Simultaneously. Turns out it was Cheryl Cole. Oh dear.’
‘Cheryl Cole has the voice of an angel. It’s a little known fact that angels actually sound like a drunken version of Bjork when they sing.’
‘No offense to Cheryl Cole at all, but she has taken an absolutely amazing country song by Lady Antebellum and ruined it.’
There are some harsh coments there but we love Cheryl but we have to admit because she wouldn’t mime she was a litte crap.
Joining in was Piers Morgan who tweeted in:
‘Is that Cheryl Cole singing or is it a dying cat?’
We dont know how he can butt in he need to keep his nose out!!
We know that Cheyl did her best but we are feeling sorry for her.
On tonight The Voice UK Team Will and Team Tom went head to head as both mentors sang with their artists live on TV.
After having earlier said on the show that his group performance would be mind blowing, the producer and fashion designer did not disappoint.
With two artists being eliminated from each team, the pressure was on for the artists to shine even more, but one team emerged as superior.
‘I’m really looking forward to this, I told my team let’s treat this as our big moment. Let’s pretend that we’re in a group.’
‘I’m looking forward to getting to do what we do best,’ before taking to the stage and singing Hit The Road Jack.
Team Will was also on the stage in his group was Tyler James, Frances Wood, Joelle Moses and Jaz Ellington, did some team bonding earlier in the week and spent time with the Black Eyed Peas front man in the studio.
‘#teamwill just smashed the place up @jazellington was #wowzerz @TylerJames777 was #dope @JoelleMoses was #explosive @FrancesRWood was #boom’.
Walterloo Road star Chelsee Healy said:
‘Will I AM is The F***** Man… That’s How We Do It BANG BANG!!! #legend.’
Former Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner agreed and said:
‘Will.i.am and his team smashed that number and totally kick Team Tom’s asses! Plus the styling was slicker.’
‘Hit the road Tom and his team. Such a dull number. #expectedmore #TheVocieUk’.
It was another good night for the voice and watch the live
they just say its live when it not really results show Sunday at 7:25PM.
She may have sadly passed away but shes is helping her best friend carve out his own music career from beyond the grave.
Tyler James previously went out with the late singer Amy Winehouse and will star on The Voice tonight!
The 30-year-old hopeful has spoken out about his devastation over Amy’s death.
And he said Amys passing away has inspired him to take up music again to help him find his feet and overcome the devastation.
‘Last summer it was the worst day of my life. Amy died and my whole life changed.
‘Now she’s here with me, I know that. It’s about me finding my own feet and the only way for me that I’m ever going to find that is through music.’
‘We were like two peas in a pod – we were like two halves of the same person.’
He had been friends with Amy since they where both at the same stage school
The pair became on/off lovers and Winehouse once said: ‘We’re mates who s**g.’
