Mariah Carey is going to be rolling back the years with a new album that is going to time travelin’ back to the Nineties.

On May 8th Mariah will make our fantasies reality by releasing a greatest hits album - The Essential Mariah Carey - featuring a hand-picked tracklist exclusively from her 1990-1999 recordings.

Mariah recently dished about the two-disc collection:

“I wanted to create a collection of some of my favorite songs. Several of them are very big hits and some are more obscure favorites of mine as well as fan faves.”
