The Voice caused so much controversy last year after BBC said that the show was live when it was pre-recorded but it’s back and currently being filmed for another series.
Jessie J posted the photos on her Instagram account of her and Tom Jones and Danny O’donoghue backstage.
The original hosts Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates are hosting the show like last year and all four judges are back for this series.
The Voice is being recorded as we speak and was also being filmed yesterday.
The only girl on the panel Jessie J has confirmed that the show will be coming back for a second series.
The talent show is to find the next big pop star but the judges Jessie, will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue have their backs to the performer so they can only judge by their voice.
It’s going to be even bigger and better this time and I can’t wait. Bring it on.”
All the judges from last year will be back this year and Tom could not be more happier as he said:
‘I’m really looking forward to seeing and working with Jessie, Will and Danny on the second series of The Voice. I’ve heard there will be some important changes that will make what is already a good, strong show even better.’
There was rumors that Jessie would not be back after she announced in her book that she would not be attending as it clashed with her tour dates but Jessie called BBC bosses to change the air times.
All the judges are looking forward to going back to work soon.
Head of Entertainment at Wall to Wall, Moira Ross, said:
‘I’m delighted that our four fabulous coaches are back for series two of The Voice. The dynamic between them is fantastic – the banter, the jockeying for position and the friendly rivalry amongst them, but most of all the respect they have for each other and the singers.
‘All the ingredients for a great second series.’
The Voice judge Danny O’Donoghue has reviled that he would love to write music for Jessie J.
Jessie was saying that lyrically on her next album she wants to articulate the break-up she went through, so I was like, ‘Come to me. No-one can write love songs like me!’” the 31-year-old said.
‘I would love to write with her – her voice is incredible. She has the whole world in her hands.’
Danny also talked about how he loved working with other judge will.i.am on the hit song Hall of Fame:
”It was awesome. I’ve been a fan of his and The Black Eyed Peas for over ten years,” he said.
“When I got The Voice I was really excited about befriending him. He’s all about the music, like me, and not pretentious. He loves our band too, so that’s really cool.
‘The collaboration with will.i.am has opened up a lot of doors for us. Tinie [Tempah] has been down to the studio; we just haven’t come up with the right song yet.”
In the next season of The Voice UK the show will be so much diffrent to the last series.
Jessie J one of the judges on the show has annouced that she is leaving and now we are hearing that Tom Jones Might go too.
Tom Jones might follow!
Back in June we heard Jessie got a nice
little big bonus to siup for the second season of the reality competition, but now she reportedly quit because of a scheduling conflict with her upcoming tour.
While that’s the official explanation, insiders say she simply angered executives with diva-esque behavior which included a refusal to do publicity along with toting around a hefty entourage.
Sir Tom Jones may be following suit as sources are also reporting that his manager is advising against taking part in another season. Here is what the winning mentor from last season had to say on a talk show recently:
“I think I will do another series. We are talking about it now. But there are a couple of things that need to be ironed out. One of the things I said I need to know is who the other coaches are, because I don’t want to be sitting there with somebody that I don’t admire or particularly like… there are a few of them! Hopefully, we will have the same four coaches.”
We still do not know whats going to happen with other judges wil.i.am and Danny O’Donoghue!
The Voice UK Live was forced to cancel their post-season concert tour because of abysmal ticket sales.
A spokesperson revealed through a statement:
“Unfortunately, The Voice UK Live has been cancelled due to lack of ticket sales… Customers are advised to contact their point of purchase for ticket refunds.”
Season champion Leanne Mitchell recently released a single — a cover of the Whitney Houston classic Run to You — and it couldn’t even crack the UK Top 40!!
This is so bad!
We only watched it to see Jessie J lolzzzz.
Robbie Williams also was one of the celebs to rock Buckingham Place last night and he made a realy good job oif it too.
Williams, British ex-boyband member and super-famous recording artist in his own right, ignited the talent-packed DiamondJubilee concert Monday night, in honor of her majesty the Queen’s 60th year on the throne!
Robbie’s punchy performance of Let Me Entertain You outside of Buckingham Palace entertained over 18,000 patriotic Brits, and the foul-mouthed bad boy of British pop-rock added some FIERY touches to the night’s celebration.
Have a look at the performance above.
