Phillip Schofield has said that he dreaded turning 50 because his father suffered a massive heart attack at the young age of 49.

Phillip turned 50 earlier this month. When you think about turning 40 you would think that he would have a wild part and invited friends and celebrity friends buy thats far fro what Phill did!

He said to Daily Mirror:

‘I asked my wife Steph to vet all my birthday cards.

‘Any with 50 on, I didn’t see. I didn’t want to know. I hate birthdays. I have a real problem with ageing and reaching 50 has bothered me for years.’

Phillip gave his father  CPR until the ambulance arrived, and the good thing is that his father found the funny side to all this!

When Phillip was asked about his father who passed away in 2008 he said:

‘The only thing he ever complained about when he came round from a quadruple heart bypass operation was that his chest hurt where I’d hit him.’

Phillip was only 22 when his father did!!

You would not have believed that Phillip is 50 he really dont look a day passed 40!!
