Michael McKean was walking along the Upper West Side of Manhattan Tuesday when a car hit him.

if you dont know who he is Hes from  Laverne and Shirley . The 64-year-old actor was found bleeding from his head after the incident occurred on W. 86th St. and Broadway right before 3pm. As soon as the ambulance arrived, they loaded him up and went to St. Luke’s Hospital where his critical condition was upgraded to stable.

His publicist said:

He’ll be okay, hopefully he’ll be fine. It’s pretty devastating. It’s the first time he will have ever missed a curtain in his entire life. He’s never missed stage, screens in film or television. His understudy has never gone on in 40-plus years.

When she found out the news Michael’s wife, Annette O’Toole, flew in from El Lay immediately.
