Sinéad O’Connor Cancels Tour As She Has A Bi-Polar Breakdown

Next month Sinéad O’Connor should have been going back on tour bit its looking like thats going to be a no no.
As Back in January, the Irish singer was admitted to the hospital fordepression after splitting from her husband and has been having a pretty tough time these past few months.
She told her fans on her website about the tour saying:
“With enormous regret I must announce that I have to cancel all touring for the year as am very unwell due to bi polar disorder. As you all know I had a very serious breakdown between December and March and I had been advised by my doctor not to go on tour but didn’t want to ‘fail’ or let anyone down as the tour was already booked to coincide with album release. So very stupidly I ignored his advice to my great detriment, attempting to be stronger than I actually am. I apologise sincerely for any difficulties this may cause.”

Sinead O’Connor Announces May 2012 North American Tour
Sinead O’Connor has announced her new tour dates but sadly she is only doing that dates for a month and in North American no were near us sadly!!
She will be performing in nine cities in 15 days She’ll then take June and most of July off before finishing her North American stay in Calgary on July 28.
Ticket Pre-sale March 28th before going public March 30th.

Sinead O’Connor To Perform Two Concerts At Bigger Venues

She may have had a Twitter meltdowns and hospital visits over the last coupple of months but she back on the road to success.
She has two performances to do at Hollywood Cemetery Sunday and Monday but high demand forced her concerts to move to the El Rey theatre.
She has a new album called How About I Be Me (and You Be You) and its getting very good reviews from the critics.
So glad to see her getting better and going down the road to success.

Paparazzi caught Sinead as she returned home on crutches. Sinead was with her children and they did their best to respect their mother’s privacy.
