Adele Is Recording Her Third Album
Adele is celebrating the new year and treating fans as it’s been announced that she is recording her new album.
As you may know Adele has had so much success with her album 21 but now it looks like she will be having loads more.
A source has said:
“Adele is making a start on another album after going off the radar since giving birth. Even though she’s been busy enjoying family life with Simon [Konecki, her partner] and the baby, she’s also been writing during her time off, so arrived at the studio ready to start working hard straight away. The album could even be released later this year.”
but what will she call it Adele is now 24 now so will the album be called 24 or will she give it a real name??
Adele’s 21 Album Is The No.1 Best Seller Two Years In A Row
Adele’s latest album 21 is still doing well with sales.
It’s been reported today that the album has been named the most sold for the last two years.
In 2012 the album sold more than 5.82 million digital and physical copies of 21 and in 2012 it sold more than 4.41 million copies.

Rihanna Gets Her First #1 US Album!
Rihanna‘s new album Unapologetic has had so much success but now it has had even more as it has become number 1 in the US making this her first ever US album number1.
The singer tweeted on her Twitter:

Her new album has sold 238,000 since it’s release last week, topping LOUD’s first week sales by almost 30,000 units.
Taylor Swift New Album Red Is The Highest-Selling Album Week Since 2002!
Taylor Swift has beat out The Eminem Show album with her new album Red in just a week after she has sold 1.208M copies.
The song has also debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart aswell.

They just told me Red sold 1.2 million albums first week. How is this real life?! You are UNREAL. I love you so much. Thanks a million
This is not only the biggest album since 2002 it is also her third chart topper.
One Direction Spend 20 Weeks In The Top Ten In The US Charts!

Its official One Direction are the biggest band since NSYNC!
Their album, Up All Night, has remained in the topten US album charts for 20 consecutive weeks – the first group to do that since the aforementioned’s No Strings Attached logged 31 weeks back in 2000!
But that new is not it their DVD Up All Night: The LiveTour has stuck the number one spot for it’s TENTH week in Top MusicVideos, selling a grand total of 246,000 copies since it dropped!
