Last night it was a big night for Mumford & Sons as they took home the award for album of the year at the Grammy awards 2013!
The band beat The Black Keys, fun., Frank Ocean, and Jack White, at winning the award.
Carrie Underwood To Perform At The Grammys!
Former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood has announced on her Twitter account that she will be performing at this years Grammy awards!
The Blown Away singer posted:
I am so excited to be performing on @TheGRAMMYs on Feb 10, on @CBSTweet ! #TheWorldIsListening
Underwood joins Rihanna, Taylor Swift, The Black Keys, fun., and Mumford and Sons who will also be performing.
Rihanna Named MTV’s Rockstar Of The Year And She’s Not Giving A ‘F**k’
Singer Rihanna has been named MTV’s 2012 Rockstar of the Year even tho Rrir does not make rock music!
Rihann ha also became the best-sellers of 2012 beating .FUN and Mumford & Sons.
MTV have said:
“[Rihanna] did what she wanted, with whomever she wanted, and didn’t give a single, solitary f— about any of it. She flaunted her blunt-rolling abilities, posed nude more times than we can possibly count, re-connected with her controversial ex [Chris Brown] and led 150 journalists on a seven-day death-march around the globe.”
Mumford & Sons Confirm New Album’s Release Date!

You might know that one of the member of Mumford & Sons recently married an adorable and talented actress, that’s apparently not stopping the band from getting their brand new album out, as they recently announced that their sophomore effort has a release date!
They where performing at the Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands, frontman Marcus Mumford revealed that the new material has all been recorded, and Ben Lovett confirmed that it will be available on September 24th!
Yesssssss that so exciting!!!!!!!!!
Sigh No More was just so pretty, so we’re curious to see if Miz Carey Mulligan has inspired any more beautiful tunes from these guys!
