Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has talked about the ladies.
In the recent issue of Details, Adam reveals:
There’s two kinds of men: There are men who are f***ing misogynist pigs, and then there are men who just really love women, who think they’re the most amazing people in the world. And that’s me.
Maybe the reason I was promiscuous, and wanted to sleep with a lot of them, is that I love them so much.
I was the music dude that was naked all the time with the girls, and that’s fine, no problem with that. But I wanted to create a little balance. When The Voice came around, I thought, ‘People now know that I have a brain.’
But how does he get all them ladies as that time when he allegedly called Christina Aguilera a c***?
We just don’t know his secret.
Over the years Marks & Spencer have had some really good TV adds but its looking like they are going to get a whole lot better with Garry Barlow in them.
We are used to seeing Twiggy, Myleene Klass and Dannii Minogue but now we have to add Mr Barlow to the list.
The quintessentially British advert sees the cast of stars, also featuring Noemie Lenoir, Lisa Snowdon and Jamie Redknapp, frolic at Twiggy’s fun-filled garden party, breaking away from chomping on cupcakes only to take part in an egg an spoon race or enjoy a spot of lawn tennis.
The soundtrack that Garry sings is a special cover version of George Harrison’s classic summer tune, Here Comes the Sun, recorded and sung by Gary Barlow for the occasion – and the action of the day segues sweetly into a campfire scene, where Gary is seen leading the gang in a sing-a-long.
Executive Director of Marketing at M&S, said:
‘It’s going to be the summer of a lifetime for our customers and we want to do something extra special to mark this celebratory year. Just like the Royal Family and our sporting heroes, M&S triggers a unique reaction in the hearts and minds of the British public and this campaign really encapsulates that sense of fondness and nostalgia.’
This is what Garry had to say about it all:
‘It’s great to be back with M&S and it’s real a privilege to cover such an iconic track. You can’t better perfection but I hope we’ve given it a modern twist that will capture the mood of the nation and provide the perfect anthem for summer 2012.’
The add is on for 60 seconds and there is a longer version that’s 90 seconds.
We look forward to seeing it on the TV soon.
