Transgender Beauty Queen Makes It To The Top 12 In Miss Universe Canada Pageant!
Jenna Talackova, is the first transgender young woman to compete in the Miss Universe Canada pageant, did not take home the title during last night’s competition, but she DID make it to the top 12, and was one of four other contestants named Miss Congeniality!
According to her attorney, Gloria Allred:
“She’s still a winner as far as I’m concerned. She won an ‘herstoric’ civil rights victory and that I think is frankly more important than anything, any victory she would win, even representing Miss Canada.”

Miss Universe Organization Will Allow Transgender Contestants

A Transgender beauty queen called Jenna Talackova was told thats he count enter the compertishion because she is transgender and she was rejected by the 2012 Miss Universe Canada pageant because she was born a male.
But after much hell raised from organizations like GLAAD, the pageant organizers changed their tune.
announced that she would be allowed to compete, but NOW the Miss Universe Organization has decided to allow ALL transgender contestants to compete from now on. Paula Shugart, the president of the pageant organization, said in a statement:
“We want to give credit where credit is due, and the decision to include transgender women in our beauty competitions is a result of our ongoing discussions with GLAAD … We have a long history of supporting equality for all women, and this was something we took very seriously.”
We are so happy for her shes so beautiful and them long legs could make her a winner we are keeping fingers crossed for Jenna.
Transexual Is Allowed To Compete In Miss Universe Canada
A beautiful transexual beauty queen Jenna Talackova has been allowed to transexual beauty queenJenna Talackova has been all thanks to an organization called GLAAD.
Donald Trump Previously owned the organization had kill Jenna’s dreams by disqualifying her because she was born a male.
But the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation called upon the Miss Universe Organization to review her case.
A statement was released on Monday, the organization revealed they had reversed their decision:
“The Miss Universe Organization will allow Jenna Talackova to compete in the 2012 Miss Universe Canada pageant provided she meets the legal gender recognition requirements of Canada, and the standards established by other international competitions.”
So awesome! In response to the change of heart, a spokesman for GLAAD said:
“The Miss Universe Organization made the right decision and has taken an important first step. Now, GLAAD urges the Organization to include all women and use this incident to speak out in support of the transgender community.”
