Nicki Minaj Is Too ‘Risque’ To Perform On American Idol!
It looks like Nicki Minaj’s dance moves are just too ‘risque’ for her to perform on American Idol.
The singer/ rapper has talked about her new single High School and said that she was meant to perform the single on American Idol but she is just a littl eover the top for that time of day and with the show being a family show.
This is what she had to say:
“I was supposed to premiere my ‘High School’ video on Idol but they said it was too risque. I had already committed to the Billboard Awards to perform my single ['High School'], and so I wasn’t allowed to perform it on Idol and perform it on Billboard [both].”

Nicki Minaj has never been shy about talking about her hard childhood and how hard it has been but now she has spoke out in Teen Vogue magazine!
The singer/ rapper has talked about the hard times during her childhood, especially when her parents argued, and also how she deals with al the haters.
The Pound The Alarm singer said:
“Every time my parents fought, my mother would have us move and I would have to go to a new school, which meant I’d have to face the task of making new friends. I dreaded it. I had butterflies in my stomach each time: Are people going to like or hate me? … Sometimes there’d be a fight, sometimes not. I let people know I wasn’t going to be pushed around. People treat this business like it’s high school. It can absolutely feel like one big popularity contest, and you know what? I can’t be bothered. I can’t allow myself to play ridiculous games with grown adults in the industry. I can’t be nice to someone just because they’re hot right now. I can’t do it.”
“I used to read the bad things people said about me. Then I asked myself, ‘Why am I reading that when I have millions of people saying great things?’ You cannot give negativity power. I tell teens, if you’re having a problem, there’s nothing wrong with deleting your social media. If people keep taunting you and you keep reading it, it’s poison.”
Nicki no longer talk’s to her dad due to what he did to her and her mother growing up but it show how much her life has changed since she found fame.
Mark Wahlberg Goes To The White House To Try And Stop Kids From Dropping Out Of School
On Wednesday Mark Wahlberg stopped off at the White House to talk the lowering of US high school dropout stats.
The actor dropped out of school himself at the age of 14 to focus on his acting career and by the sound s of things he doesn’t want other children to make the same mistake.
Mark also went to T.C. Williams High School to talk to students as this is what he said:
“If my career goes south, I’m working at McDonald’s. I’m driving a tow truck… That’s why I’m going back to high school.”
Nicki Minaj Is Not Going To Tour, BUT Is Just About To Releases New Music!
Fan’s of Nicki Minaj will be happy and sad to hear this news as she has announced that she will be releasing some new music but ‘doesn’t have time to tour’!
The singer/ rapper is really bust at the moment with being a judge on American Idol so we can understand why she will not be going on tour any time soon but the new music sounds good.

“I don’t think I can [tour]. I really would love to, but I don’t think I’ll have the time. It’s a lot … I obviously am going to start working on the third album very, very soon. I’m getting beats as we speak. I just haven’t started writing, but that’s my biggest priority at this point.”

The queen of rap has recently spoke about her fashion sence and a new fragrant as she said:
“I knew that I was about to launch a clothing line and I want women to know that I’m just a regular woman and I’m not some weirded-out character all the time. It felt like I took off this mask—it didn’t feel like that to me—but to the world it’s almost like, ‘Oh, now we see the real her.’ It was weird. I think people were under the assumption that I was wearing a lot of makeup because I was wearing pink blush and pink lips.”
