Do you rember back to 2011 when Selena Gomez’s Twitter and Facebook accounts were taken over by a hacker, who wrote things like “Justin Bieber sucks”…???

Well now the hacker Gareth Crosskey, who posted a video on the internet showing how he hacked the facebook account has been caught after the FBI and Britain’s Metropolitan Police tracked him down!

After spending $79,130 on the investigation, Gareth admitted to the computer crime earlier this month and has been sentenced to one year in prison!

Judge John Price, who sentenced Gareth, told him:

“You are clever with a computer and you hacked into the private part of somebody’s Facebook account. Selena Gomez had a Facebook account on which she has six million friends. They have permission to get into part of the account and you hacked into a private part by getting the email password.”

Gareth had claimed to have gotten his hands on some personal exchanges between Selena and the Biebs, and also between her andDemi Lovato!

We are so happy they they have caught this man and he if doing time for something wrong he has done.
