Lil’ Wayne has been doing very well on the Billboard’s Hip-Hop List!
French Montana’s Pop That, featuring Weezy, Rick Ross, and Drake — it just debuted at 57 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart!
Only two other artists have recorded as many chart-smashing tracks in the same category — James Brown (111) and Jay-Z (108).
It took Jay “I own a plane” Z a year longer to hit triple-digits, but he was the lead artist on a much higher percentage of those songs!

Drake has recently revealed he’s already begun work on his follow-up album to the uber successful Take Care, and is expecting his next musical venture to be more scintillatingly infectious than anything he’s previously done.

“I’m really excited to start working on new music. I start like June 18. I got a studio bus out here so me and 40 started working on a couple joints the other night. Just getting warmed up. I did like the ‘Amen’ track for Meek [Mill] and I did ‘No Lie’ for 2 Chainz. I’m on French Montana’s single; me, him, [Rick Ross] and [Lil Wayne], which is a crazy lineup. And then on Justin Bieber’s record. I wrote a song for him as well.”
We know why Drake is so excited to make music he he will be making lots of £££££££££££££.
