Cyndi Lauper: ‘I Wanted To Kill Myself’

Cyndi Lauper has recently talked out about her depression and said that after a career break in the late eighties she even considered killing herself.
Lauper talked about her rise from poverty and a violent upbringing to become a pop singer. Sge fell into a deep depression after her fame went down when she was living in a hotel room in New York City.
She said:
“I had come so far but felt like I had failed. I disappointed the record company because I didn’t come home with an armful of awards like they expected. It was always like that; it was never enough. It was such a dark time for me. When I was living in that hotel I was two steps off of that balcony.
“I would go to the studio and then sit in my dark room and drink vodka. I had to spend most of my time alone. I was grieving. I thought the sadness would never go away. The only thing that always prevented me from suicide is that I never wanted a headline to read, ‘Girl who wanted to have fun just didn’t’.”
Cyndi left home at 17 after her dad abused her and her sister.
LeAnn Rimes Making Progress In Rehab
LeAnn Rimes is said to be making progress in rehab after being admitted to rehab for stress and anxiety.
LeAnn put herself in rehab last month for a long program but shes doing really good alredy.
Sources have said:
“LeAnn is doing extremely well and very positive about the therapy she is receiving… I have spoken to her a few times… She’ll definitely come out of this a better person.”
LeAnn Rimes Goes Into Rehab On Her Birthday!

Its such a shock to lean that LeAnn Rimes has checked herself in rehab on her birthday.
Shes apparently cheeked herself in for treatment for ”anxiety and stress,” as her rep explained:
”LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30 day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress. While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”
LeAnn talked about her decision for getting treatment by saying:
“This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be. All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you know what? I’m hoping they’re not going to affect me as much. I’ll have the tools to know how to deal with them.”
LeAnn’s husband Eddie Cibrian has talked about her courage and how supportive he is:
“My wife is the most remarkable and courageous woman I know. I am so proud of her for having the strength to finally take some time for herself. I will be with her every step of the way.”
Shes done the right thing and it so good that she could admit that she needs help.

She started fighting her eating disorder when she was 12-years-old but its looking like it has left her comatose and near death.
Nickki did get better but by the look of the photos she looks like its sadly coming back again!
She told heat magazine:
‘At the moment, I have to work out twice a day.
‘If I don’t, my head is just racked with guilt. And I weigh all my food on food scales.’
Her toned torso also revealed a large tear on her abdomen where she was force fed through a tube as a youngster when again struggled with the eating disorder.
Nikki was also carrying a bottle of Proplus caffeine tablets which she reportedly has to take to keep herself awake after feeling faint from doing to much exercise.
After working hard in her yoga class, she then rushed off to eat some food.
Its so sad to see some on really needs to help her and Fast!!!!!
