We can now confirm that Davy Jones died of a heart attack, an autopsy report has confirmed.
The Monkees star who died at the age of 66 suffered a serious build-up in his arteries and congestion in his lungs.
It was also said that he had marijuana in his system, though, that did not play a role in his death.
Jones passed away in February and his funeral took place earlier thismonth.

Singer of The Monkees sadly passed away this morning. He died of a heart attack in Florida. According to his rep , who confirmed the news, the medical examiner’s office for Martin County, Florida received a call from Martin Memorial Hospital informing them that the 66-year-old performer had died early this morning.
We are thinking of the friends and family at this very sad time.
