David Beckham To Retire From Football At The End Of The Season!
He may only be 38 but David Beckham has announced that it’s time to retire!
Beckham has just signed a deal for five years to join the Paris St. Germain in January, and straight up donated all his salary to charity.
This is what he had to say:
“I’m thankful to PSG for giving me the opportunity to continue but I feel now is the right time to finish my career, playing at the highest level.”
“If you had told me as a young boy I would have played for and won trophies with my boyhood club Manchester United, proudly captained and played for my country over 100 times and lined up for some of the biggest clubs in the world, I would have told you it was a fantasy. I’m fortunate to have realised those dreams.
“Nothing will ever completely replace playing the game I love. However, I feel like I’m starting a new adventure and I’m genuinely excited about what lies ahead. I’m fortunate to have been given many opportunities throughout my career and now I feel it’s my time to give back.”
He has made 115 appearances for England and 394 for Manchester United, winning six Premier League titles and the Champions League.
Over the years he has won n 19 trophies, 10 of which were league titles. He’s been playing football for 20 years now so he has had a really big career!

David Beckham now has 32 tattoo and he doesn’t regret one of them!
The PSG footballer told CNN that all of his tattoo’s have a meaning and all mean a lot to him.
Tanking in the interview he said:
“I have 32 and I don’t regret any of them. They all have a meaning. I think that’s what’s important about tattoos, if they have a meaning you’ll never regret them.”
Beckham has always talked about his love for having ink on his body as he has two full sleeves of tattoo!
