Katy Perry Shedded A Tear After Seeing Cyndi Lauper’s Kinky Boots On Broadway Even Lost An Eyelash!
Katy Perry went to see Broadway’s Kinky Boots finale and she was in tears.
The show must be really good as it has been nominated for 13 Tony Awards so we bet the show get’s Katy’s vote.
A onlooker said:
“She was crying so hard she thought she lost an eyelash.”
Perry tried to pull herself together before she meet the woman behind the play Cyndi Lauper and she even offered Katy a tissue.
Lauper told Miss Perry:
“Honey, I keep these on me at all times. I’ve been crying nonstop all week.”
Cyndi Lauper Met Some Unusual Fans On The NYC Subway!
The other day Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein decided to take a drive down the NYC subway, to look at their advertising boards for their new Broadway show Kinky Boots.
But instead of a smooth ride down the subway the pair where stopped by unusual fans who where saying wired things to Lauper and Fierstein.
One woman ran up to Cyndi and pushed the photographers out of the way and shouted things at the 80′s icon!
Cyndi Lauper: ‘I Wanted To Kill Myself’

Cyndi Lauper has recently talked out about her depression and said that after a career break in the late eighties she even considered killing herself.
Lauper talked about her rise from poverty and a violent upbringing to become a pop singer. Sge fell into a deep depression after her fame went down when she was living in a hotel room in New York City.
She said:
“I had come so far but felt like I had failed. I disappointed the record company because I didn’t come home with an armful of awards like they expected. It was always like that; it was never enough. It was such a dark time for me. When I was living in that hotel I was two steps off of that balcony.
“I would go to the studio and then sit in my dark room and drink vodka. I had to spend most of my time alone. I was grieving. I thought the sadness would never go away. The only thing that always prevented me from suicide is that I never wanted a headline to read, ‘Girl who wanted to have fun just didn’t’.”
Cyndi left home at 17 after her dad abused her and her sister.

Cyndi Lauper is going back to bones!!
Setting Cyndi in one of Season 7′s bonus standalone episodes, he explains of the style:
It’s a departure for us. We’re doing the entire episode from the point of view of the victim. It’s a stylistic challenge but one we’ve been thinking about tackling for quite a while. Since these four episodes are sort of free floating, this seemed to be the right time to do it.

Cyndi Lauper has decided to make an Autobiography!
The book will show the ups and downs in her carer that has been a big successful one.
Expect the self-titled memoir to cover the Girls Just Want To Have Funsinger’s entire life — from her troubled childhood through her rise to fame in the 80s and up until now. When speaking to the press about her memoir, she said:
“Sometimes I come off good, sometimes not so good.”
She has 58 years under he belt and she has a lot to write.
