Demi Lovato Says Simon Cowell Is A ‘Grump’ With A ‘Heart’
To a lot of people Simon Cowell is TV’s Mr nasty but it seem’s like Demi Lavato has seen the real Simon.
Demi was recenly talking to Company magazine and this is what she had to say:
“He’s a grump. An old fart. But he has a heart that nobody gets to see. If he walked into this room, he’d treat everybody the same – he shakes everyone’s hand.”
We know that really Demi has to say that as he did give her a job and she doesn’t want it to be awkward when they both return to the X Factor USA later on this year.
Demi Lovato Says ‘Rehab Helped Me Reevaluate My Life’
Demi Lovato has not had the best of life’s as she had problems with bulimia, self harming, alcohol abuse and bipolar disorder, but now she is all better.
Talking in a recent interview Miss Lavato has talked about how rehab helped her ‘reevaluate’ her life.
This is what the Skyscraper singer had to say:
“A couple of months before I went to rehab, I had a birthday party and there were a couple of hundred people there. It was full of people who I considered my closest friends. When I turned my phone on after being in rehab for three months, I expected lots of text messages and phone calls. I had four texts. That was a wake up call. I have severe trust issues but I try not to be jaded.”
Then she went on in talking about her friends and how they have helped her overcome her problems in life:
“I don’t have loads of friends. I used to, but then I realized, do any of them actually care? Now I have people who, if I break my leg in the middle of the night, they’ll come to the hospital with me. Or they’ll answer the phone at 4 am if I need them.”

Cyndi Lauper: ‘I Wanted To Kill Myself’
Cyndi Lauper has recently talked out about her depression and said that after a career break in the late eighties she even considered killing herself.
Lauper talked about her rise from poverty and a violent upbringing to become a pop singer. Sge fell into a deep depression after her fame went down when she was living in a hotel room in New York City.
She said:
“I had come so far but felt like I had failed. I disappointed the record company because I didn’t come home with an armful of awards like they expected. It was always like that; it was never enough. It was such a dark time for me. When I was living in that hotel I was two steps off of that balcony.
“I would go to the studio and then sit in my dark room and drink vodka. I had to spend most of my time alone. I was grieving. I thought the sadness would never go away. The only thing that always prevented me from suicide is that I never wanted a headline to read, ‘Girl who wanted to have fun just didn’t’.”
Cyndi left home at 17 after her dad abused her and her sister.
Dolly Parton Is Said To Make A Fortune Off Of Whitney Houston’s Death
Im sure she would rather Whitney alive but Dolly Parton is said to make lots of money off the sales of I Will Always Love You.
“She was broke — her label gave her advances. And unlike Michael, you have to remember that Whitney didn’t write any of those massive hits. They were songs that Clive Davis told her to sing and she did.”
“On records, the typical mechanical royalty paid to the writer/publisher is about 8 cents per radio performance. That would all go to Dolly. Whitney is only the singer. She receives an advance from the record company based upon anticipated album sales. Figure that’s around $2.00 per album. But all of the costs to record the album, promote the album, videos, etc. are all recouped from the artist’s share.”
“Whitney was living off of advances — loans from the record company — and had been [for] quite some time. Most likely the estate owes the record company a ton and future sales will be used to pay back that loan before any money goes to the estate. The songwriters, however, will make a bundle.”
Still so sad.
