Another Peter Pan Film Is Coming Out!!

Disney is adapting Peter and the Starcatchers for the big screen and has already hired a writer to start working on the screenplay.

Its the 2004  children’s novel is a prequel to the classic story and was recently adapted into a hit Broadway production which was nominated for nine Tony Awards.

This looks so exciting everybody loves Peter Pan don’t they?!

Clifford The Big Red Dog Is Coming To The Big Red Screen!

 Hollywood is creating some of the best children’s books to make into films and by the looks of things tahy are running out of films to make so they are just going to start on children’s books!

Universal has announced their plains to make Clifford The Big Red Dog into a feature film.

Since it’s a live-action/animation hybrid, we’re assuming it will be likeMighty Joe Young, but with a big red dog running around instead of a gorilla.

This si looking really good and the kids will love it!!

Author Of Where The Wild Things Are Has Died

The author of the well known books Where The Wild Things Are has sadly passed away.

Maurice Sendak Reportedly, Sendak suffered a recent stroke and died of complications related to it today,at age 83.

He passed away at his home in Connecticut, where he had lived for 50 years with his late partner, Eugene Glynn.

He was an amazing author and children loved his books  with twenty-two of his books named best illustrated books of the year by the New York Times. His 1963 work, Where The Wild Things Are, earned him the Caldecott Medal and made him a childhood staple.

R.I.P. he will be much missed.

We are thinking of his friends and family at this very sad time.
