The Black Keys WIN The Award At The Grammys For Best Rock Performance!
The Black Keys last night won the award at the Grammys 2013 for Best Rock Performance with their smash-hit Lonely Boys!
The boys beat out Coldplay and Mumford & Sons, as they where also up for the award!
Carrie Underwood To Perform At The Grammys!
Former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood has announced on her Twitter account that she will be performing at this years Grammy awards!
The Blown Away singer posted:
I am so excited to be performing on @TheGRAMMYs on Feb 10, on @CBSTweet ! #TheWorldIsListening
Underwood joins Rihanna, Taylor Swift, The Black Keys, fun., and Mumford and Sons who will also be performing.
Rihanna Is Not Staring On Ke$ha’s New Album!
Rumors are going around that Rihanna worked on Ke$ha‘s new album Warrior after the Die Young but the rumors have now been cleared up!
Producer Dr. Luke has said that they will not be making music together well not on the Warrior album.
Luke said:
“I’m going to tell you right now: There’s no Rihanna. I don’t know where that came from. I’ve seen it all over the place, but there’s definitely not a Rihanna song on it. Iggy Pop is on the record, Patrick [Carney] from the Black Keys is on it, another sick drummer we have is Fabrizio Moretti from the Strokes on it and [frontman] Julian Casablancas plays on some stuff and Wayne Coyne from the Flaming Lips did a song.”
Ke$ha only just released her new single Die Young, and the new album comes out December 4.
Johnny Depp And Alice Cooper Becoming A Couple!
Johnny Depp and Alice Cooper made music together back in May but it looks like the School’s Out singer is back for sloppy stage seconds!
Alice basically begged his pal JD to brandish his mighty axe on the nexttour!
Appealing to the actor’s roots, Alice offered:
“Johnny came to Hollywood to play guitar. He didn’t come as an actor at all. I always say to him, ‘If you really want to go outontour, let me know and you can come with us.’ I wouldn’t be surprised if he did.”
We could so Imagine them two going on tour with each other and making sweet music!
Johnny Depp To Be Honored With MTV’s Generation Award!
Johnny Depp is going to get the award for MTV Generation at this year’s MTV Movie Awards, hosted by Russell Brand, on June 3 at 9pm ET/PT!
Johnny will also present an award to The Black Keys, who will also perform a special version of Gold On the Ceiling for the screen god.
Stephen Friedman, President of MTV said in an official statement:
Johnny Depp is a fearless, once-in-a-generation talent with a chameleon-like ability to inhabit any role. With years of astonishing performances, Johnny has truly earned this Generation Award, and we look forward to honoring him with a can’t-miss tribute at this year’s Movie Awards.
