Nick Grimshaw has only been hosting the Radio 1 Breakfast show for just over a year now but it look’s like the public and not turning in!
It’s been reported today that he has lost nearly 1 million listeners!
Nick took over the show from Chris Moyles and it’s not just that he has lost nearly 1 million views thae ratings are at their lowest in 10 years!
Nick has four million less views than Radio 2′s Breakfast Show hosted by Chris Evans which is the biggest gap between ratings the station has ever recorded.
Helen Boaden, director of BBC radio said the following:
“The brand new schedule continues to bed in at Radio 1 and we remain confident that it will emerge strongly from a period of transition. Radio 1 is in good health – as clearly demosntrated by five golds at this week’s Sony Radio Academy Awards.”
Nick also failed to win a award at the Radio 4′s Today Show.
Robbie Williams has slammed Radio 1 Breakfast host Nick Grimshaw for now playing his music on air.
The Candy singer called nick a a ‘b******’ as he thinks that Nick and the Radio 1 staff think he’s too ‘fat and old’ as he talked at last night’s Sony Radio Awards.
“I did the Brits and started singing, ‘Hey-ho, here we go’ to a bunch of industry people and they were all just like, ‘F*** off, you’re fat and you’re old.
“And Radio 1 don’t play you no more – you’re fat and you’re old’.”
“Isn’t that right Nick, you b******?”
But the beef with Radio 1 did not stoop there as during Williams’ performance of Candy he shouted:
“That’s Candy. How four-year-old do you want it, Radio 1?”

Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall Spotted Out With Some new Facial Hair As She Steps Out Of Radio 1 Studios
British girl group Little Mix stopped of to the Radio 1 studios this week and one of the members of the band walked out of the studio with some new facial hair.
The blue haired Jade Thirlwall was photographed walking out of the Radio 1 studio with a drawn on mustache and unibrow on her face.
This was all apart of a game of Truth or Dare that the girls where playing on the radio show and the pop singers opted to eat chocolate out of the radio DJ Scott Mills‘s belly button and draw a mustache and unibrow on her face to silence the truth from coming out about her embarrassing Sudoku and Facetime habits.
