Look at that body!! Fern Britton says she has found happiness with her family and her body in middle age.

She has battled depression thought her life bu at in her fifties Fern has said  she is finally loving her life.

54-year old Fern Britton has said in an interview with  Woman & Home magazine that she has found happiness with her family and her body in middle age.

She said:

‘I’m nearly 55, I’m as healthy as I can be, I’m loving my life, and I like my body.

‘It has worked very hard. It’s had four children; it’s fed children, it’s had three caesareans, it’s had a couple of husbands! I’ve never hated it.

‘That should be the way we view our bodies as women. We have to love ourselves. It’s tiresome when people make assumptions about what I’m thinking about my shape, my dress, whatever it is, and it’s all wrong.

‘I have two working legs and two working kidneys. Yes, sure, my eyesight’s going a bit, but everything else is here.’

Sexy and slim Fern has lost so much weight over the years and looks AMAZING!!

Fern also said about she has learned to be more philosophical about her bouts of depression.

‘If I feel any depression coming, which I haven’t now for a long time, I take a very deep breath.

‘The last time I felt it, I decided, “There’s no point in running because it will get me so I have to turn round and look it in the eye and let it run through me”.

‘It only lasted two or three weeks, and I just told the family I was feeling a bit rubbish and they were totally understanding.’

Fern has twin sons Harry and Jack, 18, and a daughter, Grace, 15, from her first marriage to TV executive Clive Jones, as well as a ten-year-old daughter with second husband TV chef, Phil Vickery.
