Adele To perform At The Oscars
Today it has been confirmed that Adele will be performing at the Oscars 2013.
The singer will take to the stage to perform the tune of James Bond Film Skyfall.
this is what the new mummy had to say as she has now released a statement:
“It’s an honour to be nominated and terrifyingly wonderful to be singing in front of people who have captured my imagination over and over again. It’s something I’ve never experienced and probably only ever will once!”

Yesterday the list of Oscar nominations was released and one person was left very happy.
Singer Adele is up for an Oscar due to her recording of the theme tune of Skyfall the new James Bond film.
The singer tweeted on Twitter:

Katy Perry Dreams Of Winning An Oscar
Katy Perry has dreamed of winning an Oscar for so long now but it looks like her dream could be coming true soon!
The Oscar nominations are going to be announced on January 10th and Katy’s name could be on there!
The singer has won loads of awards over the years but by the sounds of things a Oscar could be the best as she said:
“It’s like a dream’s dream. When I was growing up and working on music, it was always a dream to win a Grammy, but Oscar was so far out of my dream sphere. This would be a nomination of a completely different caliber.
One that is more impressive than many other ones I’ve had. It’s interesting to step out of your playing field and to be recognized from a different angle. It would be an honor.”
“I would never let it leave my side. I’d take it on tour and take pictures of it with me around the world.”
Seth MacFarlane To Be The Host Of The Oscars!

For the 85th Oscars it’s looking like Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane will be hosing the show?
This is the first time he will host a show like this and he seems excited as he said:
“It’s truly an overwhelming privilege to be asked to host the Oscars. My thoughts upon hearing the news were, one, I will do my utmost to live up to the high standards set forth by my predecessors; and two, I hope they don’t find out I hosted theCharlie Sheen Roast.”
Jimmy Fallon To Host The Oscars?
Its been announced that Jimmy Fallon will host the Oscars this year.
A few Academy big wigs want to hire the Late Night host to emcee, but some political dramaz has gotten in the way of Fallon taking the stage.
Apparently ABC, who is broadcasting the Oscars this year, is scawd of a wittle competition! We’re told:
“ABC is owned by Disney, and Disney chief executive Bob Iger is said to be unhappy with the idea of showcasing Fallon, whose show competes with ABC’s late-night show featuring Jimmy Kimmel. Fallon and Kimmel are in a neck-and-neck competition for viewers.”
The network would simply hire Jimmy K to run the show instead of Jimmy F, buuuut Kimmel can’t because of some kind of unspoken rule that forbids the same person to host the Oscars and the Emmys.
We think he will do an amazing job and hes so funny too.

Its looking like Brad Pitt might be winning at The Academy Awards!
Being one of the actors who probably should have won one by now (Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio), Brad KILLED in this new film (figuratively and literally).
But his performance isn’t the only thing receiving that honey bee buzz! Apparently they used Obama‘s 2008 Democratic National Convention speech. And some people are thinking it’s a stab against Prez O, but Brad explains:
The movie sets Obama’s 2008 Democratic National Convention speech against a landscape of greed and violence but this wasn’t an attempt to criticize Obama, but rather the footage was used as a real expression of hope.
We really would love to see him win an award We’d love to see him finally take home the gold. C’mon, don’t you??
