Some of the biggest names in music will all get together next month and all perform at the Sound Of Change charity concert at Twickenham sports stadium.
The list of name’s is massive and a really good line up as some of the names include Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Ellie Goulding, John Legend, Florence and the Machine and more.
But the biggest name there is Beyonce and she seem’s really excited as she said:
“Our goal is to have a great time together while we unite and strengthen the voices of girls and women around the world.”
James Arthur got over his anxiety and performed what Gary Barlow said was he best of the series.
The singer sang LMFAO‘s I’m Sexy And I Know It in his own way but it was much diffrent from last wee as he was taken away in an ambulance after having a panic attack.
Gary said to the 24- year- old:
‘Amazing, amazing, amazing, You absolutely turned that song on its head and you gave those stupid lyrics meaning. This wasn’t only the performance of the night, but of the series so far.’
In a VT before his performance James told the views:
‘Saturday was really overwhelming. Building up to the peformance, I began to feel a bit funny
But coming off stage I couldn’t feel my arms, I couldn’t breathe properly. I was properly freaking out so they had to call an ambulance. They then discovered it was an anxiety attack and they needed to calm me down for half an hour.’
James’es mentor Nicole Scherzinger sat him down to talk about how he felt when he was rushed to hospital and he replied:
‘I had spasms and pain in my arms and chest – I thought it was a heart attack, I thought i was going to die.’
Nicole told him:
‘You need to take care of yourself and know that i am behind you, we are behind you.’
But James was not the only talk of the show as shows host Dermot O’Leary made a surprising entrance as he did a back flip and showed off some great dance moved as he walked onto the stage but viewers might have been amazed at his moved but little do they know the moves where being done by a stunt double.
Christopher Maloney was the first act to open the show as he took to the stage to perform Boy Meets Girl’s Waiting For A Star To Fall.
As Nicole has said before Chris is very cheesy but by the sounds of things tonight she was liking the cheese.
Maloney admitted that he was nervous about the performance as he was out of his comfort zone performing such a jazzy tune.
‘The song I’ve been given gives me the chance to strut my stuff a bit. I’m not really good at dancing though, I’m not a dancer, and I never have been, and I never will be. I’m 34 – I dance like my dad in the pub! But it should be good – fingers crossed.’
Up next was MK1 last week they did not get the best of comments from the judges but the comments where better this week.
The pair performed a mash up of Crystal Water’s Gypsy Woman and Tinie Tempah’s Pass Out. Tlaking about last week gilr of the group Charlie said:
‘We love that song but we are not that kind of pop act- we thought maybe we were going home because it wasn’t us. Last weekend proved to us that noone in this competition is safe.’
Louis said about his act:
‘They need to stick to what they are good at’, he added to the pair: ‘I don’t want you to compromise yourself at all.’
Jahmene Douglas was third to perform but at the start before he performed in his VT he admitted that he has had a hard week after it got out in the press about his abusive father.
‘Last weekend there was a personal story about my father and his past – I wasn’t going to tell anyone. I guess it’s a good thing that it’s come out because people can see that’s the way I am and that’s the reason I laugh after everything I say because if I don’t laugh then I’ll break down.’
The he talked about how music had helped him through the difficult times:
When I was locked into the house – I used to listen to Whitney Houston and sing along – that was my sanctuary. All my life all I have wanted to do is make my mum happy – because she has been through more than any woman should bear.’
Jahmene broke down in tears at the end of his performance after the week he has been tough but he cheered up after the coments he got from the four judges.
Tulisa told the former Asda worker:
You are just absolutely adorable. All I can do is sit here and say to you each week is how amazing you are. I believe in fate very much and your whole life has been building up to this moment, and this is all happening for a reason.’
Then it was Garys turn to talk:
‘Congratulations on another stunning performance – your voice is something else. I don’t think you need to move around the stage – you are all right to stand there and sing – your voice is incredible. I’m just trying to give you an honest critique.’
His mentor Nicole added:
‘You’re 22 and you have survived through so much and you are so brave and you have bigger balls than anyone i know. I love you and I’m so proud of you. You are here for a reason – for great purpose.’
Jahmene told the judges:
‘I just want to say thank you.’
Another one who’s not had the best of week Jade Ellis has not been able to talk all of last week after he voice kept on going so her vocal coach told her she should go and get medical advice.
In a VT before her performance her mentor Tulisa said:
‘Jade has ha the worst week ever – her voice hasn’t been right for a while now and it seems to be getting worse.’
‘I’m hoping that it’s nothing too serious and nothing irreversible.’
But by the sound of her voice on the permanence you would have never know how much trouble she has had with her voice over the last week as she pulled off another amazing performance.
The mother of one was told by the judges after she performed:
‘I had no idea all this happened to you this week. It was a safe performance but because of where your voice is at, it needed to be.
‘Hey sweet pea. First of all you look like a million bucks. The only thing is that looking like a million bucks, I just wanted you to own it more. I wanted you to believe what you were singing.’
‘You look like every inch a superstar but you didn’t sing like one. I know you have had a bad week but there was no energy and no great passion that i know you have inside you. It wasn’t enough.’
Letting Louis know what a week she has had Tulisa shouted back:
‘You don’t know that it wasn’t enough yet – it’s not Sunday. Jade, you’ve had a seriously rough week and I know it has knocked your confidence. You are not on top form but if you are voted through to next week then you will be.’
Boyband Union J took to the stage in fount of an audience of screaming girls as the boys performed When Love Takes Over from Kelly Rowland.
The boys mentor Grey haired Louis was worried that all the girl attention they where getting during the week was not making them focus on the show as he said:
‘I don’t want all this female attention to take away from their performance on stage.’
The boys got all good talk from the judges.
Next up was the one that your rather love or hate Rylan Clark.
Rylan even admitted that he was shocked by the public voting him in last Sunday. Clark had also been to the barbers as he had he beard chopped off as he wanted a diffrent look as he said in his teen years he looked like the “Moon”.
Louie told the Essex singer:
‘Another great Brian Friedman production featuring you. We know you’re not the best singer but you’re the best entertainer and you give it everything. We don’t want to lose you – we need you in the competition.’
The last group of the night to take to the stage was District 3!
The boys where in the bottom two last week with Melanie Masson but by the looks of things they mad e a good impression on the judges.
‘Tulisa is right, it’s all about the confidence. Boys, honestly, you are giving the other groups a run for their money after that performance. I’m so proud of you boys.’
Louis finished off in saying:
‘You worked your asses off all week and you did it tonight. It was fun and we haven’t just got one boyband, we have two great boybands in the competition now.’
Party animal Lucy Spraggan performed her own version of David Guetta‘s Titanium, complete with her own written verses!
After getting a grilling from Gary Barlow over his performance last week calling it “Flat” Kye Sonesperformed much better of his own version of Swedish House Mafia’s Save the World.
Kye took Gary advise on board as he said:
He was brutally honest with me but that’s exactly what i needed. tonight i want to go out and make Gary proud of me. This opportunity is all I have ever wanted, so this week I am going to go out there and sing for my life.’
Last to perform was Adele‘s fav Ella Henderson who performed Florence And The Machine‘s You’ve Got The Love.
Garry was not too happy with Ella’s dance moves:
‘That was slightly safer this week. But I think the dance moves really cheapened your act. All you need to do is sing – have you ever seen Adele dance?’
Then fighting back Tulisa said:
‘She’s 16 and she’s just having fun in dance week!’
‘Who knew you could do up tempo. You know what? You smashed it tonight. You had fun. Let’s not forget how young you are as well’
Florence Welch has said that she wants to take some time out from making music so she can have some time to herself!
She decided to have this time off after the release of her new album called Ceremonials.
In a recent interview with Style magazine, Florence said:
“There’s a big ‘take a year off’ plan. The record company have put no pressure on me for the next album. They’ve said I can have as long as I want.”
Florence and The Machine performed at the Reading Festival in England over the weekend and she will also feature on Calvin Harris’ upcoming album, 18 Months!
Now that Katy Perry and Russel Brand have officially divorced Katy can focas on her new man Robert Ackroyd!
And now the word on the street is that they are thinking about moving in with each other.
One insider reveals:
“Katy doesn’t want to make the same mistakes she made with Russell. The long distance thing didn’t work so if she’s going to settle down again, it needs to be with someone who can be close at hand when she needs them. It will also take some compromising on her part. But Rob is making the move overseas towards the end of the year. It seems really sudden, but it’s now or never for them. They’ve spent the majority of the past few months apart, so in one way it will actually be a test of their relationship to be around each other so much.”
We tort that Katy was taking a break from loveing?!
But if miss Perry is happy then so are we.
Katy Perry has supposedly bought on-and-off-again british beau &Florence and the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd a vintage, Fender guitar worth over $35,000!!!
One insider reveals :
“She’s so smitten she’s bought Rob some very decent gifts. He’s into his vintage guitars so she knew he’d be impressed by the Fender.”
Aww that must be love.
But its not all about money Katy now is it? Its about love.
