Russell Brand Says: I’d rather Be A Drug Addict

Russell Brand has had a life long addition with drugs but In a new documentary It’s shows Rus smoking drugs at the age of 20.
The new documentary is about drug addition and it looks really interesting!
However, although he’s now sober, it seems as though Brand STILL finds himself longing for his old drug-addicted life!
Russell confessed:
“This is when you know it’s a disease. It doesn’t matter that I was sat in that flat in Hackney and now I’m in the Savoy. I’m jealous of me then. It doesn’t make a difference to me. The money, the fame, the power, the sex, the women – none of it. I’d rather be a drug addict.”
Just so sad!!
Of course, Russell still remembers the horrible consequences of his addiction, which caused him to lose many friends, family members as well as himself.
Brand went on to say:
“You’ll take it [heroin] until it takes your life. It’ll take everything until the last thing and you’ll gladly give it that rather than give up drugs.”
Sadly Russell did not go to rehab for 12 weeks just keep hopeing he will stay clean from now on!
Reporter Apologizes For Trying To Kiss Will Smith!
There has been alot of trouble after Will Smith‘s recent outburst on the red carpet at the Moscow premiere of Men In Black III.
He slapped a reporter round the face for trying to kiss him and now, the man responsible is speaking out…and would like to apologize to the actor for his behavior!
Ukrainian journalist Vitalii Sediuk explains:
“After having the possibility to think and analyze everything that happened, now I do apologize for my behavior. But I still hope for other meeting…I think it was too much…I can say it was it was an emotional impulse. Will Smith is a person whom I deeply respect as an actor, I’ve been watching him since my childhood and of course when I met him in Moscow finally I just wanted to do something, not extraordinary, but to impress him. We have Slovak tradition, and of course I don’t do that often – I don’t kiss every man or woman when I meet him or her on the street – but that time I decided to do that…I don’t take offense and of course we have different mentalities, ethics, stuff like that, and it’s not a big deal for me to say, ‘I’m sorry, Will. It was a splash of emotion. It was an emotional moment, and I’m sorry for that.’ Next time if I meet him, I’ll just shake his hand and then we’ll be fine. I can’t say that I did it for fame, I’ve interviewed Madonna, I’ve interviewed Bill Clinton.”
We know that he could have handled the situation diffrently and maybe just shouted at him.
But slap him now that’s lame.
Glad to hear that he doesn’t seem too phased by the whole debacle, though!
