It was two years ago when Bernie Nolan decided to go public about her battle with cancer but now she has revealed that it has came back!
The 52-year-old talked about her illness for the first time over the weekend about the devastating diagnosis which she was given in the summer.
Bernie is currently on drugs to to contain her cancer has said:
‘It’s not curable.
‘I’m on medication which is controlling it and people have lived for 12 years on these drugs.
‘Who knows what new treatments are around the corner?
‘I refuse to sit around like I’ve got a death sentence.
‘I’m going to fight this for ever. It can get stuffed.’
Talking to Lorraine Kelly during Breast Cancer Awareness Week the lead singer in the Nolan sister said:
‘I couldn’t say, “Actually, funny you should ask, because it’s back and it’s spread”. Erin could have been watching.
‘I had to think long and hard about going public because once it’s out there I can’t take it back.’
