Only Way Is Essex Star Joey Essex has snapped back at rumors of being punched in a Burnley bar after having some drinks.

People on social networking sites where saying that Joey was hit after visiting Pharaohs bar in the Lancashire town on Saturday (September 22).

A witness told The Sun:

“He was going across the dancefloor when someone side-swiped him. He fell on the floor. Joey didn’t know what hit him.”

Dave Read an Essex’s spokesman told the paper:

“Joey went in the bar, but is adamant he was not hit. Someone’s trying to stir things.”
