Sources have said:
“Kim’s in New York for her fragrance launch [at Fashion's NightOut] and Kanye didn’t want to go to the VMAs if she couldn’t be there.”
His music video Mercy was up for two MTV awards Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Editing.
