You might rember that Simon Cowell picked Britney Spears as his prized X Factor judge (even though Mariah Carey was reportedly in the running)?
And when Mariah asked Simon about the
decision the same day, responded shortly with:
“You think I focus on that stuff? Have we met? I love [Spears], honestly. I think she’s a very nice person, but I don’t care who’s going on that show – as long as it’s not me.”
After she realized what she had said on Twitter:
“@BritneySpears & @SimonCowell of course I luv+care about you dahhlings, congrats! U never know what’s true or gossip, I was joking around!”
She would have been trying to cover it up MiMi doesn’t need anyone’s love she doesn’t want, that’s for sure!!
