TOWIE's Sam Faiers Talks About Her Impulsive Control Disorder Which Makes Her Pull Out Her Eyelashes

She one of the biggest stars on the hit show Only Way Is Essex and shes alwars known for looking her best.

Today Sam Faiers has reviled the reason behind her wearing fake eyelashes.

She has opened up about her troubles for the first time about her battle with Trichotillomania – a disorder which causes her to pull out her real eyelashes.

Trichotillomania is an impulse-control disorder which causes people to pull out their hair, which could be from the hair on their head or hair on other parts of their body, which eventually leads to bald patches.

It is a psychological condition and therefore people who suffer with it are not able to stop themselves from pulling out their hair as they feel an intense urge to do so as it causes a sense of relief.

The glamour model who chooses to wear two sets of fake lashes for dramatic effect told The Sun that she has suffered with the disorder, which affects as much as four per cent of the population, since she was eight-years-old.

She started to pull them out after someone told her to make a wish on a stray eyelash.

So sad.
