The BBC have been froced to contact the police after Racist ‘Trolls’ have been sending The Voice Fave Ruth Brown racist comets on Twitter.
The 20-year-old singer, whom judges have compared to Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner and Mariah Carey, had received a number of nasty, hateful comments about her appearance since the start of the show.
But when remarks of a racist nature appeared on her Twitter page last week, BBC online moderators reported them to the police.
She was said to be hurt about what she has had said about her but the good thing is shes had more happy tweetes and supportive fans then bad.
Some of the tweets, which are still accessible on Twitter, nastily said she was an ‘ugly fat cow’, the ‘fat controller’ and ‘fat wasp’, referring to the yellow and black dress she was wearing on last week’s show.
Ruth retweeted the coments and said back:
‘OK I’m big, get over it’.
So sad they are just jealous of her AMAZING voice.
