Lady GaGa‘s Poker Face previously held the record in the female solo artist category with 6,622,000 copies sold, while the Black Eyed Peas‘I Gotta Feeling remains the best-selling digital download ever with 7,822,000 copies purchased.
Adele is only One Million short in when it comes to a single, but perhaps more importantly, she has nabbed the best-selling ALBUM in digital history after selling 2,303,000 copies of 21.
