Grandmother And Her Six-Year-Old Grandson Found Dead In A Village Pond
A 71 year old Grandmother And Her Six-Year-Old Grandson has been Found Dead In A Village Pond in Holywell village, Lincolnshire.
The Grandmother and Grandson where feeding the ducks on the pond Today they where named locally as Dawn Mullany and Laurence Mullany-Mills.
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Wood said: ‘Officers went to the grandmother’s house, but they could not find her or the boy.
‘They conducted a search in the surrounding area and found her car by the pond. Both bodies were found near a grate over a sluice at one end of the pond.
‘We believe one of the possible scenarios is that they were driving back to family in Leicestershire and they stopped to feed the ducks.
